We have unsupervised crèche spaces available at both services.

At the 9.30am service, there is a crèche for kids aged 0-18 months and their parents/carers, where you can see and hear the service. Located in the Thornton Chapel at the back of church.

A supervised group for children aged 18 months - 2 years, with free play, some songs, stories and craft! Parent’s can either leave children supervised with our fully DBS checked kids team or they can receive a DBS check themselves to stay in the room with their child during the session. Please email Emma for more details. Located in Cabin 2 at the 9.30am service, and we’re joined by age 3 - Reception in the 11.15am service. Cabin 2 is one of the portacabins in the church grounds during our Revitalise 250 building project.

A supervised group for children aged 3 - Reception. In this group we have a time of free play, sung worship, learning Bible stories and we have fun making crafts! Located in Cabin 1 in the 9.30am service, and we merge with our 18 months - 2 years group in Cabin 2 at the 11.15am service.

A supervised group for children in school years 2-5. In this group we play games, have a time of sung worship, Bible teaching and discussion and we have fun making crafts! Located at Trinity House Hall just off of Bromell’s Road. Parents will need to sign a consent form for us to walk their child to and from Trinity House and church. Parent to drop off and pick up children with their printed pick up sticker at the family hub tent outside of church.

Below is information relating to a regular Sunday with HTC’s children’s groups:

• Pre-Registering before the Day

  If you have children, you can pre-register them for a group for the 9.30am service here and the 11.15am service here. 

  Or, pre-register once for the whole term by filling out a short form below: 

  • Please sign up to pre-register for the 9:30am service for the whole term: 9:30am Service - Whole term

  • Please sign up to pre-register for the 11:15am service here for the whole term:11:15am Service - Whole term

  There will be a separate table with all pre-registered stickers outside the family hub which have been pre-printed before the service, so you can skip all queues for the printers!
  
  Please note: you must pre-register before 8am on Sunday morning to have your sticker pre-printed. 

If you have pre-registered for groups, on the morning parents/guardians can collect their stickers from our family hub before the service. You will receive:

• 1 pre-printed sticker per child with their name, group and a personalised number on.

• 1 pick up sticker for a parent/guardian with the same number on as their children, to be used to pick up their child/children from their groups after the service.

If you miss the pre-registering period before Sunday, there will be members of team ready in the family hub to register your children for groups and to print all the stickers needed for you on the day. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the service if you are looking to register your children on the morning, as this will usually take longer.

• Before the Service
  Come to the Family Hub to register or collect your pre-registered stickers for yourself and your children.

• If you have a child in Years 1-9 who walks over to Trinity House on a Sunday for groups, please fill in this consent form to give us permission to do so. 

• Then enjoy our free café, get to know others, grab a seat for the beginning of the service with your children!

• Start of Service
  All children will stay in the main service for the first song of sung worship. For the 9:30am service this will be an all-age action song where the children are encouraged to come on stage and to stand at the front of church to join in. For the 11:15am service this will be a regular worship song where children will stay with their parents in their seats.

• Going to Groups
  After the first song in the service, children will go to their group rooms. Please escort your children aged 18 months -4 years to their rooms to check them into their groups. Older children can either walk to rooms/family hub for check in by themselves where they will be greeted by our kids team, or you may escort them if you prefer.
  
  You may not stay in your child’s supervised group unless you have had a DBS check through HTC. Please email Emma (our Children's Pastor) for more details on DBS checks.

• During the Service
  If your child needs to be collected during the service the number on their sticker and on your pick-up sticker will be put on the screen in the main service. If you see their number, please head to your child’s room immediately.

• After the Service
  After the service has finished, please head straight to your child(ren)’s group room or pick-up point to collect them with your sticker.

• When you get home
  Why not ask your child to share what they learnt in their group that morning!? Carrying on the conversation is a great way to disciple your children at home!

  Don’t forget to pre-register for next week to save time Sunday morning.
